So many of our beloved antique memories have been affected by time: deterioration of photos may occur due to folds or tears, water damage and other stains.  Sometimes, there's only a few photographs that remain from previous decades, if at all.  Even when photos have been well-preserved, age and natural degradation will yellow the paper; photos no longer retain the luster they once had.  As time progresses, the photo paper will only continue to degrade, losing the stored memory over time.
