If dropping off to the Digital Roots Studio Albany office then please contact us to set up a time to drop off during our business hours, we are by appointment during office hours. You can call us directly at (510) 922-8481 or you can email us info@digitalrootsstudio.com to setup a drop off time. Appointments are not limited, and you can make the appointment the say day you would like to drop off. But b/c we are only a two person company we sometimes need to step away from the office to go to USPS or UPS and we don’t want to miss you. You can even call/email the morning of the day you would like to drop off, not a problem.

- Mailing your package:

If mailing your package then please print our our order form to include in your package. If you don’t have a printer then you can call us ahead of time to place your order over the phone, but please include all of your contact information on a piece of paper within the shipment so we know whose order it is when it arrives. PLEASE don’t mail directly to our office, since the delivery drivers at times will leave packages out. Please ship to our UPS box up the street from our office, they have weekend hours and packages WILL NOT be left outside (Please note: Don’t schedule delivery for AM/7am-10am delivery service when using Amazon. Backup your audio cassette tapes, micro cassette tapes, mini discs or 1/4” reel to reel tapes into a digital format or your liking that will last for years to come. Output options include playable CD or digital MP3, WAV, AIFF or FLAC. CD collection backup is also available.

Sound Film

The majority of consumer film is silent, but many reels of sound film are still yet to be digitized. Digital Roots Studio can capture optical 16mm sound film and Super 8mm magnetic sound film. An additional fee is applied for sound film and the turn around time is usually 2-3 days longer to complete that silent film.
